Role Overview:
The BD Product Manager will manage and own the marketing processes and programs associated with the BD Biosciences Clinical platform in Canada. The role is responsible for developing and implementing a consistent and integrated marketing and sales strategy for the portfolio of products to meet growing sales and category share targets, working as part of a cross-functional team to drive customer interest, lead generation, and retention.
Responsibilities include:
- Financial Management: Oversee financial budgets and projections for platform revenue and profitability.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement market plans to drive platform growth.
- Market Research & Product Launch: Plan and execute market research, product launches, and marketing campaigns.
- Communication & Sales Tools: Create and manage market communication plans and sales tools.
- Global Collaboration: Work with the worldwide BD Biosciences Clinical marketing team.
- Commercial Activities: Partner with sales team for customer site visits and other commercial activities.
- Customer Insights: Analyze data to generate actionable customer insights.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across functions to align on the customer buying journey.
- Digital Marketing: Execute digital marketing strategies to nurture leads.
- Pricing Excellence: Manage pricing strategies for the product portfolio.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the local expert on products within the portfolio.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, M.Sc and/or MBA an asset.
- 5+ years of marketing experience in the Medical Device industry.
- Familiarity with Immunology and Flow Cytometry.
- Experience with clinical labs in acute care hospital environments.
- Finance business acumen a strong asset.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- 15% travel within Canada and the US.
