The Opportunity
Leavitt Machinery is looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-oriented Account Manager to join our team as a remote employee based in Coquitlam, BC. As the Account Manager you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers, achieving customer satisfaction, and driving sales and profitability for the Operator Training department.

The Opportunity
Leavitt Machinery is looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-oriented Account Manager to join our team as a remote employee based in Coquitlam, BC. As the Account Manager you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers, achieving customer satisfaction, and driving sales and profitability for the Operator Training department.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As the Account Manager your key responsibilities will include:
- Skillfully answer inbound sales calls and explain products, services, and prices, addressing the specific needs and interests of clients
- Accurately obtain and record customer information into the CRM, including leads, opportunities, quotes, and orders
- Use superior telephone sales skills to prospect for potential customers and build relationships with client accounts remotely, using both warm and cold call lead sources
- Target and acquire new business by gathering prospect information via internet research and tradeshow attendance
- Work to meet sales quotas and facilitate future sales
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:
- 1-2 years of prior experience in a client services or telemarketing role, with a proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas
- Post-secondary education in Business, Sales or Marketing preferred
- Excellent communication skills and presentation skills
- Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong negotiation skills
- Highly organized and a dependable self-starter with excellent time management skills
