eHealth Integration Specialist

On behalf of our healthcare client, Affinity Healthcare Solutions is looking for an eHealth Integration Strategist to work closely with the Department’s incumbent Functional and Integration Architect to provide services to the DH in collaboration with different stakeholders, and vendors to develop and support Integration Architecture for Digital Health initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development of integration blueprint and frameworks for MyHealthNB, Gateway Services and other IEH business and application requirements;
• Assist and support eHealth Projects and Operational Teams with integration strategy and design to ensure alignment with IEH integration goals, principles and standards;
• Assist in the development of integration requirements, standards, and guiding principals for IEH Services;
• Review and provide feedback on Integration deliverables including Messaging Specifications, Integration Testing Strategies, Integration Testing Plans, Conformance Plans, and Implementation Guides. The Strategist may also be called upon to provide content for integration deliverables;
• Participate in Stage Gates used to determine if an initiative is ready to move forward;
• Regularly communicate with the appropriate EA representative(s);
• Ensure integration solutions are aligned with DH’s standards;
• Assist in the development of RFP(s) for Solution(s);
• Assist in the planning and implementation of Solution(s) as well as the DH digital transformation strategy;
• Regularly engage with the Integration Team for the purpose of collaboration, guidance, and development;
• Other duties as assigned by Innovation and eHealth’s Functional and Integration Architect.
Require skills:
• A University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
• A minimum of 15 years of IM/IT experience as a Senior Systems Analyst, Senior Business Systems Analyst or Architect
• A minimum of 10 Years of experience working with eHealth Standards Based Messaging; including HL7 V2, V3 and FHIR
• Exceptional knowledge of and experience with Enterprise Master Patient Index solutions demonstrated through a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Must be available to work in Fredericton, NB upon assignment of contract as described in Section 9 of this SOW and on the start date described in Section 8 of this SOW.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
• 5+ years of demonstrated capability of managing/leading a team of specialists, technical analysts or programmers on information technology development projects.
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience leading technical design and technical requirements gathering sessions and experience in review of existing systems, technology and solutions and performing technical and solution due diligence.
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in the development of Integration Deliverables identified under Section 11.
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in delivering enterprise integration services and processes that can be applied to several clients/solutions.
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience standing up and delivering integrations for provincial solutions, providing experience on maintainability and long-term lifecycles that extend beyond initial implementation.
• 5+ years of demonstrated as Solution analysis and delivery experience, including solution evaluation (custom vs COTS vs adapted COTS).
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in transformational projects acting as an architect with proven capabilities mentoring technical teams.
• 10+ years of demonstrated hands on experience with the Pan Canadian Standards including HL7 V2, V3 (MR2009 and CeRx) and FHIR;
• Demonstrated experience working with Identity and Access Management Solutions is considered an asset
• Demonstrated competency in communication skills (written and oral) in English.
