THE ROLE
Under the supervision of the Corporate Services Manager, the Social Media Assistant assists in the promotion of Personnel Support Programs (PSP) activities and services and specials events activities for the military community. They upload content on platforms including, but not limited to, website, social media, newsletter and local newspapers. They assist in the development and preparation of stories, advertisements, posters, and other materials for publication, edits and uploads texts, images and videos on the department's digital platforms. They collect and propose topics for digital and traditional platforms. They participate in media and local events, suggest and prepare visual contents adapted to target audience.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
College diploma or certificate in Social Media, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field AND some years of experience in social media or a related field.

This is an on-site position with an assigned work location.
PSP: Keep our Canadian Armed Forces operationally ready and their families and military community healthy as part of the team at Personnel Support Programs. Personnel Support Programs contributes to the operational readiness of our Canadian Armed Forces through the provision of fitness, sports, recreation and health promotion programs to military communities across Canada and members while on deployment.
