This position is responsible to provide strategic advice to senior management in the transformation of health systems and services at FNHA. The position advises on policy and strategic issues, and provides project leadership for assigned initiatives, ensuring the continued focus on sustaining, and improving the health of BC First Nations.
Title: Senior Advisor, Strategic Policy
Salary: $97,462 to $114,661 to $131,861 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Term to August 2026
Hours: Monday to Friday (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)
Location: Syilx or Secwépemc (Cawston, West Kelowna or Kamloops, BC)
Work Type: Hybrid 50% in office.
About The Role
As the Regional Advisor you will
To be successful in this role you will have an undergraduate degree from a recognized post-secondary institution is required, in a related area such as law, governance, or political science.

You may have experience in Experience in working with First Nations and First Nations health programs and services and/or First Nation communities.

About The Role

- Provide strategic assessment, monitoring, and advice on behalf of FNHA in support of transforming health systems and services.
- Support the development and ongoing management of external partnerships and community engagement strategies to inform and seek feedback on FNHA’s priorities.
- Provides project leadership for strategic initiatives, including managing project teams and providing direction for the completion of related tasks and activities.
- Perform research and work planning activities to support strategic initiatives across FNHA.
