Child & Youth Services Facilitator (part-time)

The TLC is seeking a mature and professional individual who has experience working with children, excels at customer service, and thrives in a high-paced and energetic environment to become a key member of our Child and Youth Services team.

The CYS Facilitator is responsible for ensuring a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for the children in programs, events, and childcare at the TLC.

Specific Skills Include:

• Excellent customer service focus, as well as experience and desire to work with children
• Strong communication skills, listening skills, and ability to ask questions
• Independent decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Knowledge of developmental abilities and interests of pre-school to school-aged children

Shift Times:

• Wednesday: 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm

Successful candidates must also have or be willing to obtain current Intermediate First Aid taken within the last two years, as well as have both a clear criminal and vulnerable sector check. HIGH FIVE, Principles of Healthy Childhood Development or related certification is considered an asset. Please note: this position may require working outside of traditional business hours.

Wage Range: $16.80 - $19.48. IOUE Local Union No. 955
