Working with us

Associates working in the hybrid model are expected to come into the office 3 days a week across Tuesdays and Thursdays, reserving Mondays and Fridays as company-wide virtual days. A day in the life of a Capital One Director, Business Analysis - Yield and Customer Terms

You will have the opportunity to flex skills as a general manager across credit, operations, and technology in a critical area of our business that is responsible for delivering over $1B in revenue, that is poised to lead a revolution in technology-led risk management and meaningfully invest in our customer agenda, with the right leadership in place.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Strategic leadership: Develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability, and customer success for Capital One in the face of shifting consumer and regulatory behavior. A proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics is required.

  • Technology & Process ownership: Have an ownership mindset, and strategic planning with a 6-24 month horizon. Develop and implement enhancements in our technology capabilities to lead the enterprise in risk management.

  • People leadership: Manage and develop a cross-functional team of analysts, process managers, and product. Coaching and mentoring associates throughout the organization is essential.

Successful candidates will have:

  • A deep understanding of product economics and PNL experience

  • Experience leading a team of analysts, process managers, and product

  • Process owner, operations or execution experience

  • High level of intellectual curiosity and comfort with ambiguity

  • Well organized, able to multitask, and able to prioritize with minimal direction

  • Communication skills, able to present to executive management on key KPIs and results

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

  • At least 7 years of analysis and process experience

  • At least 5 years of leading a cross-functional team of 8+ reports

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of leading a cross-functional team of 15+ direct reports

  • 5+ years of experience working in an Agile environment

  • 5+ years of leading analytical, process and product teams
