About The Job
Looking for an experienced caregiver in the Chilliwack area who wants to do Live-in care at a client's home.
Shift would be starting at 8am on Mondays every week, and end on 8am on Fridays every week. The Live-In Caregiver will be living with our elderly client in their home and sleeping there as well. They will be assisting the client where they can. Food and their own room will be provided.
Rate of pay: $225 per day / 24-hour period. You will also be provided a 4-hour break each day or 4 hours of additional hourly pay.
Hardworking caregivers get lots of hours! We work with caregivers' schedules. We are a busy company and need caregivers who can take on regular clients on a weekly basis. - Smartphone savvy for use during shifts to clock in and out and do visit notes.
- Complete a criminal record check.
- Consistent job performance & attendance our clients can rely on.
- Reliable transportation.
- Professional demeanour and respectful attitude.
- Ability to perform basic housekeeping + meal prep tasks.
- Flexible availability.
- Previous caregiving and or elder care experience.
- 1+ professional references.
- Applicants must reside in British Columbia.
- Meal prep + planning.
- Dementia Care/Companionship.
- Housekeeping (including laundry).
- Personal care + hygiene.
- Medication routines.
- Quality time + companionship.
- Helping with exercises.
