Influence and Connect as a Talent Acquisition Specialist with Modern Niagara. As a partner to the business, you will continue to build and represent our brand within the industry and beyond, acting as an ambassador of Modern Niagara on all recruitment fronts- having fun along the way!

This role will bring opportunity to build lasting relationships, collaborating on methods and strategies, consulting and working hard to bring solutions to the business through talent sourcing. Partnerships will be a strong tool to this work, as well as finding innovative ways to attract, engage and hire top talent to the team. This role is required to report to the office five days a week.

Overview of Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to forecast and understand recruitment needs
  • Manage the full life cycle of a requisition by developing strong sourcing and headhunting strategies to attract candidates
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future needs
  • Review all applications, shortlist and screen suitable candidates
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and the appropriate teams
  • Promote Modern Niagara's employer brand by attending industry events, job fairs and other related activities
  • Work alongside People and Culture Operations for offer details and extend job offers, negotiate terms
  • Ensure a quality candidate experience throughout the entire communication, up until post onboarding
  • Use a data driven approach to deliver best practices and optimize recruitment

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 3+ years experience with full lifecycle recruitment and managing a high volume requisition load
  • Experience working with a UKG is an asset
  • Experience recruiting in construction is preferred
  • An understanding of HR practices and/or processes, using legislative requirements
  • Innovative and creative approach to the work of Talent Acquisition
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to manage key stakeholders
  • A natural networker, enjoy building relationships and connecting with people
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while ensuring process is being followed
  • A strong sense of urgency and autonomy
