Logistics Coordinator

Agilus is recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator in the Automotive industry in Windsor, Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Responsible to coordinate production orders against demand and forecast and purchase material, as required
• Coordinate and monitor logistics of movement of materials within the facility and ensure that materials and shipped and received on schedule
• Place orders based on the demand identification/requisition from the supervisor. Make suggestions for improving the accuracy and timeliness of information needed to place purchase materials and schedule production activities
• Communicate with the production floor and shipping. Develop supplier base to ensure the company is getting the best value. Track, monitor, and orders consumables
• Maintain and administer inventory control through maintenance program. Track and control costs. Compile detailed work sheets and specifications
• Compile detailed work sheets and specifications. Estimate type and quantity of materials and labour required for production. Prepare and maintain various reports
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Must have a technical background in maintenance manufacturing environment
• Should possess strong calculative and analytical skill sets. Ability and effectiveness to manage time to meet required deadlines
• College level diploma or equivalent education and work experience. Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, & Visual
• Use all resources effectively. High level of data accuracy. Must be detail orientated
• Strong negotiating skills are required. Familiar with FCA and Volkswagen requirements and systems
