Make an impact within our Indigenous Services team as an Administrative Assistant, Indigenous Services. This diverse team of professionals are dedicated to exceeding clients’ unique needs within a rapidly evolving business and financial reporting landscape. MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm for Indigenous Nations, businesses, and entrepreneurs in Canada. With more than 250 Indigenous clients and 300 team members dedicated to this sector, no other firm has invested as much time and resources into serving the unique needs of Indigenous communities.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage multiple calendars, schedule client and internal meetings as applicable
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and reservations
  • Coordinate internal and client meetings, organize catering and other details as required
  • Review, modify and prepare comprehensive templates, letters, reports, PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, Excel workbooks and other correspondence materials; research, compile and summarize information/data, as applicable
  • Perform and track a variety of administrative and clerical activities including assembling, filing and delivery of corporate and personal tax packages
  • Maintain electronic and paper filing systems
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes including participation in administration meetings
  • Work collaboratively with other team members and leadership
  • Provide backup reception coverage as required


Skills And Experience

  • Post-secondary education in administration is considered an asset but not required
  • 2 years of administrative experience in a professional working environment
  • Experience with Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams is an asset
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

The annual salary range for this position is: $48,000 - $55,000. Compensation is determined based on individual skills and relevant experience.
