Duties

• Safely operate vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload freight using forklifts and other equipment as necessary.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transit.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal driving regulations while on the road.
• Assist with moving materials within the warehouse or facility as needed.

Requirements

• Valid PTC license
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle operation and maintenance.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if required.
• A commitment to safety practices while driving and handling materials.
