About the Role

The Program Assistant, Community Graduate Programs (CGP) is an integral member of the CGP team and serves as the first point of contact for current and prospective EdD and MEd students. The Program Assistant collaborates with the program area manager, staff colleagues, instructors, students, other SFU departments, and external bodies to support program admissions, registration, course scheduling, events, exams, and graduation and tackles both routine and unique challenges with a proactive approach. The Program Assistant contributes to the success of the Faculty's graduate student community, vision, mandate, and commitment to advancing equity, a culture of inquiry, and Indigeneity in education.
