WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Role:

We are seeking a talented Regulatory and Compliance Specialist to join our Engineering team. We are looking for someone with strong knowledge of international compliance requirements and a proactive, team-oriented attitude. This role will report to the Senior Lab Manager and will be integral to CoolIT Systems, Inc.'s aspiration of ensuring product safety and quality in the development of scalable computer cooling solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Product review on the different design stage for UL 62368-1, CB and EMC compliance.
  • Supervise compliance safety certification testing as per UL/CSA 62368-1 and other standards under UL Data Acceptance Program.
  • Supervise testing at local third-party compliance test facilities if needed.
  • Project tracking to ensure on-time completion.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
  • Adhere to international quality standards (incl. ISO 9001 and ISO 17025).

WHO YOU ARE:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electronics, Electrical or other related Engineering fields.
  • 5 years of experience in regulatory or compliance certification for electronics or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of compliance safety standards (CSA/UL 62368-1, UL 60950, or similar) and testing procedures.
  • Knowledge of other electronics compliance standards incl. EMC is a plus.
  • Strong desire to work with custom projects in a fast-paced technology company.
