What You’ll Be Doing

As the Restaurant Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of our front-of-house operations, ensuring our guests have an amazing experience, regularly returning and leaving with smiles. You will be leading our team with energy and expertise, and help shape Patina Brewing Co. into the go-to destination in Port Coquitlam, working directly with the Chef and Brew Master under the leadership of the Director of Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Charge: Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth service and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Inspire Your Team: Recruit, train, and mentor front-of-house team, fostering a positive and collaborative culture.
  • Champion the Guest Experience: Interact with guests, resolve concerns, and ensure everyone feels at home and is exceptionally well cared for.
  • Keep Things Running: Monitor inventory, schedule an efficient team, manage budgets, and maintain efficient systems to keep operations seamless.
  • Stay Ahead: Ensure compliance with Fraser Health regulations and BC liquor laws while keeping up with industry trends.
  • Collaborate with the Kitchen: Work closely with our culinary and brewing teams to deliver food and beer pairings that wow.
  • Be a Community Builder: Represent Patina Brewing Co. as an ambassador for our strong sense of community both inside and outside of Patina’s restaurant.

What Makes You the Perfect Fit

You’re not just looking for a job—you’re looking for a chance to make an impact. Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • 5 – 10 years of restaurant experience, including 2–3 years in a leadership role.
  • A natural leader with a passion for people and hospitality.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep knowledge of food safety, Fraser Health regulations, and BC liquor laws.
  • An enthusiastic, positive attitude that inspires those around you.
  • Up to date Serving It Right and FoodSafe certifications (preferred).
  • A love for craft beer, BBQ, and building community connections.
