Position Overview

Position Overview
As the Landscaping Project Manager at Atkinson Landscaping, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of landscaping projects, from concept to completion. You will lead a team of skilled professionals, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality. Your leadership and expertise will be instrumental in delivering exceptional results that exceed our clients' expectations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of landscaping technicians, providing guidance and support throughout all stages of the project.
- Coordinate daily tasks and assignments, ensuring that work is completed on time and within budget.
- Oversee all aspects of landscaping projects, including site preparation, planting, hardscaping, and maintenance.
- Collaborate closely with clients, designers, and your manager to understand project requirements and deliver customized solutions.
- Maintain and manage equipment, tools, and materials, ensuring they are in good working condition and properly utilized.
- Monitor project progress and expenses, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork, communication, and professional development among team members.
- 2-5 years of landscaping experience, demonstrating proficiency in various landscaping tasks.
- Ability to build basic patios, including knowledge of laying pavers or concrete.
- Proficiency in building basic Allan block and wood walls, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.
- Experience in installing turf and shrubs, with an understanding of proper planting techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to manage at least one other person, providing guidance, direction, and support as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy objects as needed.
