What you can expect to do here:
As a Junior Lab Data Coordinator, you will contribute expertise in the following areas:
- Self-started and self-motivated, being able to work with minimal supervision and collaborate with different teams, working with and supporting Project Managers and internal clients;
- Produce high-quality written data reviews in support of large and small environmental site assessments, monitoring and remediation projects;
- Update and maintain the EQuIS Professional database with environmental data from the laboratories; and
- Upload, track and process emails from the laboratory in a timely fashion.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Diploma or degree in related field (Geoscience);
- Experience with laboratory data;
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy;
- Ability to multitask effectively and communicate efficiently;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, both French and English preferred;
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook)
- Experience with EQuIS Professional and/or Database will be an asset;
- Sound understanding of the need for health and safety procedures in the workplace and possess a safety-conscious attitude; and
- Strong interpersonal, communication and key judgment skills.
