Personal Lines / Autoplan Agent

Sussex Insurance Agency is looking for a Full Time Personal Lines / Autoplan Agent. This is NOT a trainee position; the successful candidate must have completed the Fundamentals of Insurance and have at least 6 months personal lines experience.

• Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
• Ability to learn various company portals
• Ability to identify gaps in coverage and offer additional products to address
• Ability to keep detailed notes in Broker Management System (Paperless Environment)
• Keep abeyances updated and current

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and professional advice to all clients or potential clients.
• Sales and service (including upselling) of all ICBC related products.
• Sales and cross-sell of other insurance products or services offered, including but not limited to Private Auto, Personal Lines, Travel, Business, Marine, RV Insurance.
• Participate in upsell & cross-selling incentives
• Batching, inventory, plate return, bank deposits and other ICBC related duties
• Light office cleaning

Wage: $18 – $23 per hour / depending on experience
