The Role

In-Service Support (ISS) Capability Development Manageris responsible for the development of service-based contract business for OSI helping new and existing customers maintain and exploit the full potential of the systems they have. This position leads the development of the design of the In-Service Support contract offering and ensuring that the intended in-service support models and delivery are optimized.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify ISS markets, starting with existing customers.
  • Direct support to OSI’s global Business Development (BD) effort to market and sell OSI ISS service-based products.
  • Determine and define the ISS product offerings tailored to the needs of each Customer.
  • Internal and external subject matter expert for OSI ISS product offerings, working with BD and key-customers; generating significant revenue streams by the development, management and marketing of OSI delivered ISS.
  • Work with BD, Operations and other stakeholders to evaluate and prioritise opportunities to develop win strategies and recommended pricing strategies based on analytics.
  • Review and refine product offering periodically through the continual development of requirements for the in-house ISS team.
  • Help develop and deploy key market messages and communications strategies for the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) / ISS product line with marketing support, including presentations, demonstrations and associated advertising material.
  • Address cross functional issues such as Service Tickets, Training and customer engagement.
  • Address customer requests for project-based issues in the absence of project support.
  • Provide ILS and ISS expertise to the BD, Engineering, PMO and other internal groups as required.
  • Other tasks as required.

You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience designing ILS and / or ISS based, or similar, delivery solutions either in a government or industry role on military contracts, supported by delivery of complex long-term support in defense sector either as supplier or in service.
  • 3+ years of front-line experience in a customer facing role either selling or sales support, demonstrating experience doing the following; pricing analysis, market intelligence identifying sales channels and building pricing strategies; or, 3+ years of direct knowledge and use of OSI’s products.
  • Ability to build relationships and lead teams; with excellent presentation and communication skills.
