Rotation/Shifts

Days, including weekends, 4 and 8 hour shifts.

Basic Requirements

  • Master's degree in occupational therapy OR equivalent program recognized by the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO);
  • Member in good standing with COTO;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Excellent problem solving and clinical judgement;
  • Excellent organizational and decision-making skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including collaboration with patients, families, teams, students, and/or external partners;
  • Excellent working knowledge of OT scope of practice and demonstrated skills working with acute and chronic medical conditions;
  • Eligible to work in Canada.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in specialized seating and positioning;
  • Experience in variety of acute care units at TOH including knowledge of discharge planning options and resources;
  • Demonstrated skills in efficiency and flexibility;
  • Proficiency in English and French oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
