Introduction to role:

We are looking for a diligent and proactive business expansion leader to support our increase in scale and scope, with a focus on continuous improvement. The successful candidate will have project management expertise with a focus on responsiveness, partnering to respond to increasing demand for our services. This role will begin with scoping and end with a stable, solid service delivery team, correctly sized, with appropriate SLAs, KPIs, and documentation.

Accountabilities:

Opportunity Assessment

  • Review, assess and manage the scoping of new opportunities
  • Work with the requesting function to scope and define the service required
  • Build a proposal and manage through the approval process, collecting required evidence and approvals in the most compliant and efficient manner
  • Consider location and recharge model to model the best solution and route to delivery
  • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the process
  • Ensure that critical metrics and service level agreements align with existing structures and GBS standards

Project Management

  • Set up the appropriate structure for transitioning the work into CEBO, working closely with the customer
  • Scope out the transition plan, deliverables, and timeline, including approval with the customer
  • Drive the project forward, maintaining all appropriate reports and updates
  • Own the recruitment plan and training model for new recruits
  • Manage the transition of work into BAU model

People Management

  • Lead the transition, including recruiting a team to an appropriate structure, fit for purpose, working globally
  • Lead a team across multiple locations and foster a nurturing team environment
  • Review team performance, including adherence to SLAs and critical metrics.
  • Manage resource capacity and planning to ensure appropriate staffing of function
  • Oversee performance assessment and career development of all direct reports and their staff
  • Manage indirect reports and relations with GFS, GDO, Genpact, and internal teams
  • Manage project-related reports from vendor teams

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (general business, managed health care, legal or finance disciplines are preferred) or equivalent experience
  • Experience in a Contract to Pay / Accounts Payable / budget management or similar type of role
  • Experience leading and managing a global team
  • Deployment and project management experience
  • Able to manage multiple priorities, work to deadlines and turnaround times, work well under pressure and adapt to ever-changing scenarios
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Capable of working independently but also taking instruction and direction from others
  • High ethical standards, trustworthy, operating with absolute discretion
  • Proactive and consultative customer service, having the ability to identify customer needs and respond creatively, listening to information, asking probing questions, applying knowledge, and determining solutions

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Previous contract development or related experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech or related industry is preferred
