We are looking for an experienced Country Executive to lead our NT business activities in Toronto, Canada.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing and developing the company's business activities within Canada and cultivating relationships with clients and regulators and manages the relationship with the Canadian board of Directors

• Oversees, plans, and directs the activities for the country organization, ensuring that business objectives are being met • Promotes the company's products and services in the Canadian market

  • Directs the reviews of operations and administrations within Canada, and recommends improvements to increase production and efficiency

• Champions risk management and compliance programs and activities within the country • Seasoned leader with extensive business experience, and broad functional expertise, with focus on proactive strategic leadership

  • Responsible for managing multiple units or functions through the direct management of a group of managers
  • Develops, implements, and communicates an overall strategy to meet both the countries and Corporation's strategic plan.
  • Assumes accountability for financial and staffing resources, including developing and managing capital and expense budgets, liaising cross-function to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity.
  • Assumes full accountability for the performance and profitability of the area as compared to the plan

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will benefit from having:

  • Knowledge of business strategy development is necessary to provide long term planning and to manage
  • the profitability/performance of our Canadian business activities
  • Leadership and organizational skills are required to direct the activities for the multiple units.
  • Knowledge of country, federal, state, and/or local laws that affect the financial industry

• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required • In-depth functional / industry knowledge is required

  • Highly flexible and adaptable to change
