Our client, a pioneer in Digital Health is looking for a Scrum Master to join a large project on a contract basis, with the possibility of going full-time. The successful candidate will play a key role in facilitating Agile ceremonies and ensuring the smooth execution of project tasks within cross-functional and client teams. You will be responsible for fostering a high-performing and self-organizing team, helping them stay focused, removing impediments, and ensuring that the project delivers value iteratively. As the Scrum Master, you’ll guide the team through the Agile process while ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure continuous team alignment and progress.
  • Proactively identify and remove roadblocks or impediments that may prevent the team from achieving their goals, fostering a collaborative environment to resolve issues.
  • Guide and coach the team on Agile best practices, ensuring the Scrum framework is adhered to and that the team continually improves.
  • Act as the key point of contact between the development team, stakeholders, and other teams, ensuring clear communication, transparency, and alignment with project goals.
  • Work closely with the Product team to ensure the backlog is well-maintained, prioritized, and reflects business needs and objectives.
  • Help the team maintain focus on delivering high-value increments of the system, while ensuring that commitments made during sprints are realistic and achievable.
  • Facilitate retrospectives to drive continuous learning and improvement within the team, ensuring that processes are refined and optimized after each sprint.
  • Track and report key Scrum metrics (e.g., sprint velocity, burn-down charts) to measure team performance, identify areas for improvement, and report progress to leadership.
  • Advocate for Agile methodologies within the organization, helping others understand and adopt Scrum principles where necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business).
  • Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in an Agile coaching role, preferably in technology or healthcare-related projects.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a complex environment, ideally in the context of large-scale system implementations.
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and Scrum practices, with experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies.
  • Previous experience with digital health solutions, healthcare technology, or public sector projects is a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong ability to foster collaboration, motivate teams, and promote a culture of accountability.
  • Experience with Agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and project management platforms.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
  • Experience working with healthcare organizations, regulatory requirements, or within large public systems
