• Warehouse Address: 1845 Kingsway Ave, Units 1105-1140, Port Coquitlam, BC, V3C 1T1

• Shift Time: Full-time, Mon to Fri, 10am to 6:30pm

• Wage: $20.75 to $22.75

• Please note: Due to additional workload or during campaign season, the person might need to do extra hours as required by management

Some of what you will do:

Responsible for daily warehouse activities, which includes the direction of warehouse employees to ensure that all job tasks are performed as effectively and efficiently as possible in a manner that meets customer service standards, productivity, and quality goals.

Specifically, you will:

• Efficiently direct all job tasks within the operation in a manner that increases productivity and meets workload targets before the end of shift.
• Resolve production and personnel issues during shift and report necessary problems to Warehouse Supervisor.
• Administer company policies and represent Staples in a positive and professional manner.
• Ensure housekeeping standards and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure all Health and Safety guidelines are enforced.

Qualifications:

Some of what you need:

• Previous warehouse experience including operating warehouse equipment is preferred.
• Working knowledge of warehouse operations; product knowledge would be an asset.
• Effective organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and teambuilding skills that allow for the creation of positive working relationships.

Additional Requirements Information:

• Work requires moderate physical effort and use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity is needed to perform the essential duties of the job:

• The employee will regularly sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee may lift, lower, or carry products up to a maximum of 50 pounds by hand.
• The employee may operate warehouse equipment. Using proper safety procedures will eliminate any potential hazards.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
