As we continue to grow and take on new challenges, we are seeking a talented and experienced Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to lead our financial strategy, ensure operational excellence, and contribute to the success of impactful projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive financial planning, analysis, and decision-making to align with business objectives.
  • Perform all accounting operations, including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.
  • Prepare timely monthly financial statements and reports.
  • Manage and support month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing and providing working papers for year-end audits.
  • Participate in the development and support of the company’s strategic plans.
  • Ensure accurate and insightful financial reporting and analysis to guide business decisions.
  • Lead the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing actionable insights.
  • Monitor and analyze the financial performance of the company, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Establish, monitor, and administer financial policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the accounting team, fostering professional growth and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Stay up to date on changing accounting standards and foster continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years in financial leadership roles, preferably in dynamic and complex environments.
  • CPA, CA, CMA, or equivalent designation required.
  • Strong knowledge of financial systems, corporate finance, and accounting principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial software, ERP systems, Jonas, Sage 50 and Advanced Excel.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Independent and able to work on your own
