Functionnal Technical Analyst - Dynamics 365 ERP Business Central

Join CGI, a global leader in IT consulting and digital transformation, for a strategic mission to deploy a new ERP system for one of our prestigious clients located in the heart of downtown Montreal. This large-scale project involves international collaboration with our Sweden-based teams specializing in Microsoft Business Central.

Our client is an iconic organization known for its dynamic and multifaceted environment. The operational reality requires rapid responses to the daily demands of a fast-paced sector (hockey games, concerts, festivals, etc.).

We are seeking a Senior Functional Analyst specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to support this complex and exciting project.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Collaborate with the client to understand and analyze ERP-related functional requirements.
• Advise and guide the client during critical project phases (analysis, design, testing, training, deployment).
• Serve as the primary liaison between the client and CGI's Sweden teams responsible for technical configurations.
• Actively participate in system configurations and functional adjustments as needed to ensure optimal solutions.
• Document processes, prepare required reports, and ensure effective knowledge transfer to stakeholders.
• Manage priorities and resolve issues in close collaboration with all relevant teams.
• Synthesize and collaborate directly with the VP of Finance and the accounting team to ensure alignment of solutions with the organization’s financial objectives.
  
  

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of significant experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP, preferably Business Central.
• Technical Skills: Functional expertise in finance and an in-depth understanding of ERP processes.
• Languages: Bilingualism (French and English) is required (both spoken and written).
• Availability: Hybrid work model with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite at the client’s Montreal location.
• Personal Qualities: Excellent communication skills, strong teamwork abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a dynamic and demanding environment.

• Industry: Experience in the retail sector or a similar environment is considered an asset.
• Certifications: The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant certification (MB-800) is a valuable asset.
• Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role, which involves interactions with national and international clients.
