Senior Financial Analyst

Position: Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Corporate Office, Cambridge, ON and Hybrid

Southbridge Health Care LP (Southbridge) is currently looking to add a talented Senior Financial Analyst to join our corporate finance team at our head office in Cambridge, ON . Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Analyst will support with financial reporting at the corporate level.

Southbridge is the owner and operator of several long-term care homes and retirement communities across Ontario. Southbridge’s mission is to operate a best-in-class portfolio of care homes and retirement communities that consistently deliver excellence in care and services in an economically sustainable manner.

Responsibilities

• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
• Participate in the annual budgeting process.
• Analyze and submit regulatory and tax compliance to all provincial/local regulations and laws and regulations.
• Participate in the interim and year end audit process
• Prepare and maintain reconciliations for balance sheet and bank accounts
• Assist with any ad-hoc projects throughout the several finance team functions
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance.
• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA)
• Advanced skills in MS Excel.
• Strong business analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Minimum of 5 years work experience as a financial analyst
• Master's degree in business administration (MBA) with a concentration in finance or finance degree.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial information to non-financial team members.
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
