Specific Responsibilities
They will be responsible for day to day operations of the clinic including but not limited to:
Scheduling patient’s appointments
Experience With Biologic/ Immunotherapy Medications
Collaborate with staff and pharmacy
Liaison with Patient support programs
Prepare and administer various IV therapies/injectables
Monitor and care for patients
Able to work with minimal supervision
Qualifications
Valid provincial license from governing body
At least two years med-surgical or acute care experience in a hospital setting- ICU/ER experience an asset but not required
Proficient in Intravenous catheter insertion and knowledge of phlebotomy
Capable of priming, maintaining and assessing patency of IV lines
Experience with preparation and administration of medication in various forms
BCLS certified, ACLS is an asset but not required
Confident in patient assessment skills in relations to systems knowledge, vital readings
Superior critical thinking skills
Organizational and task oriented
