Service Coordinator

Role: We have an immediate opening for a Service Coordinator in our Calgary Branch. Reporting to the Field Operations Manager, the Service Coordinator is vital to our everyday operations, and they take full ownership for the service cycle. This role is a permanent, full-time position.

Responsibilities:

• Answers incoming service calls
• Schedules service and warranty calls with the customer
• Opens and completes work orders including material and equipment sourcing
• Receives PO or Credit Card information from the customer prior to dispatching employees
• Distributes required paperwork to technicians, parts department, and warehouse personnel
• Dispatches and communicates with technicians for the required information relevant to the job prior to or during the service call cycle
• Other duties, as assigned

• Customer service savvy and above average communication proficiency
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage stress, and diffuse difficult situations
• Well organized with great attention to detail
• Superior resourcefulness, integrity, and solid work ethic
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Knowledge in shipping, logistics, construction, and overhead doors is an asset

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience scheduling and dispatching field service
• Working knowledge of MS Outlook (including calendar) and Excel
• Minimum completed education – high school
• Possess a valid Driver's License and vehicle
