Web Designer

Responsibilities:

- Design and create visually appealing and user-friendly websites or update existing ones

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand project requirements

- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups

- Implement responsive web design principles to ensure optimal user experience across different devices

- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and make improvements

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web design and digital marketing

- Collaborate with our teams to understand their visions and translate these into design concepts and website functionalities.

- Optimize websites for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility and rankings

Requirements:

- Degree or Certificate in Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field OR Proven work experience as a Web Designer or similar role

- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies

- Proficiency in using design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, GIMP

- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and best practices

- Knowledge of Google Analytics and SEO principles is a plus

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team

Nicer to Haves:

- Ability to create graphics for marketing material as needed, such as icons, logos, brochures, posters, and print advertisements.
