Job Description:

On behalf of our healthcare client, Affinity Healthcare Solutions is looking for an Enterprise Architect to join the Strategy and Architecture Branch of the ITD. The position will require you to work full-time ON SITE at their office in Regina, Saskatchewan.


Responsibilities:

Duties of the Resource will include, but are not necessarily limited to:

• Business/IT strategy Development and planning

• Business application and technology portfolio management and rationalization

• Multi-year capital and operational budget planning including projections for total cost of ownership.

• Business Capability planning.

• Architectural Governance and Standards

Qualifications:

Mandatory qualifications:

• Candidate agrees and is committed to working full time onsite at a Government of Saskatchewan office in Regina, Saskatchewan upon contract start date and for the duration of the contract.

• Demonstrated experience working as an Enterprise Architect in the public sector in North America.

• Provide specific detailed examples.

• Certification in TOGAF 9 or newer.

• This will be validated through The Open Group website.

• Provide details of TOGAF version and certification date and the Personal Information Code for private accounts.

Score qualifications or requirements:

• Local Knowledge: GOS is interested in understanding the resource’s experience with GOS, or comparable entities, as it relates to the technical and business landscape.

• Demonstrated experience with Enterprise Architecture frameworks and practice development across all domains. (Business, Information, application, technology, security).

• Demonstrated experience facilitating enterprise planning, consulting with business and IT leadership and leading the development of consolidated roadmaps.

• Demonstrated experience leading application and technology portfolio and lifecycle management.

• Demonstrated experience leading the design and development of IT service management and orchestration.

• Demonstrated experience with the design of IT governance frameworks and standards development.

• Demonstrated experience with project and portfolio prioritization and management.

• Demonstrated experience with multi-year capital and operating budget planning, including projections for total cost of ownership.

• Demonstrated experience with organizational design and change management practices.

• Demonstrated experience with the Orbus iServer suite of enterprise architecture tools would be considered an asset.

The ideal Enterprise Architect will have extensive experience in:

• North American Public Sector Organizations

• Architecture Practice Maturity

• Application /Technology Portfolio Management

• Business capability analysis, development, and management

• Business and technology services planning, design and orchestration

• Enterprise information and technology roadmap alignment

• Technical governance framework design

• Facilitation with business and IT partners and third-party vendors

Desired qualities:

• A self-starter with professional accountability

• High degree of communication skills, able to present ideas, strategies, theories, and plans to all levels of the organization in a manner consumable for the audience.

• High degree of organizational skill, able to multitask and set clear timelines for expected deliverables.

• Collaborative and consultative approach to problem solving.
