WHAT IS THE ROLE?

As the Senior Designer reporting to the Vice President Design, you will oversee the entire creative process for the different collections, from initial concept to final product. You will generate original, trend-driven designs that align with market demands and boost sales.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for guiding a talented design team to ensure each phase of the design process is completed efficiently and on time. Your deep knowledge of fashion trends, artistic expertise, and ability to shape the aesthetic of our menswear collection will be crucial in aligning with the brand’s strategic goals and positioning.

HOW WILL YOU DO IT?

• Partner with leadership to identify and shape seasonal trends for the target audience.
• Foster a creative, supportive environment where your team of designers can grow and thrive. Guide and coach them to reach their full potential.
• Within your category, contribute innovative ideas on how to transform the latest trends into products our customers will love.
• Collaborate on creating artwork and establishing seasonal color palettes.
• Work closely with the technical design team, offering feedback on drawings and designs.
• Oversee every aspect of presentation, from mood boards to prototypes, ensuring ideas are communicated clearly and market direction is consistent.
• Attend fittings to guarantee that garments not only look great but fit perfectly.
  
  

Who You Are

Your achievements:

• College diploma in Fashion Design.
• 8 years + of related experience, in fashion design.
• Excellent Illustrator knowledge.
• Comfortable presenting ideas in front of key stake holders.
• Excellent fashion sense and knack for originality and creativity.
• Strong leadership to inspire and guide teams toward achieving goals.
  
  

Your contribution:

• Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate creative concepts and ideas effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively and build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams.
• A keen eye for detail and aesthetics, passionate about creating innovative and appealing fashion collections.
• Strong ability to do research and build all documentation and visuals for concept direction books.
• Drive Design direction for specific divisions, ensuring cohesion with brand identity and market trends.
• Oversee the end-to-end design process, from concept ideation, sketching, production,and fabric selection to final sample approval.
