As a Senior ERP Business Analyst, you will work as acts as a liaison between the ERP DevOps team and the users of technology corporate wide.

The Senior ERP Business Analyst works with management, customers, and development teams to ensure that business, and quality objectives are met while supporting StandardAero's enterprise ERP system. This includes defining requirements, writing user stories, helping to prioritizing and maintain backlogs while providing direct support to our customers and users.

What You'll Do

• Develops and maintains an understanding of company business processes, data inputs/outputs, and the application functionality required to make those business processes cost-effective and efficient
• Provides direct primary system support for users of enterprise systems and acts as a liaison between general users and development teams.
• Identifies, leads and coordinates a core team of subject matter experts to define and create system designs in accordance with the ERP Products and DevOps methodology.
• Reviews system designs with functional areas in all business units to gain acceptance and consensus ensuring user, customer, and legal requirements are met.
• Assist in defining software development project plans, including scoping, scheduling, and implementation.
• Assist in the definition, development, and documentation of business requirements and specifications on a project-by-project basis in collaboration with internal users and departments.
• Assist production system issues as they arise and manage the process through to problem resolution.
  
  

Position Requirements

• 8+ years of Business Analysis experience on IT related delivery and/or system implementations.
• Post-Secondary education in a related field of study or equivalent experience
• Exceptional planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in active management of scope and requirement updates to balance changing business needs with delivery capabilities
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with various levels of technical and non-technical stakeholders throughout the organization
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of a broad range of ERP (Accounting, Fixed Assets, Payroll, HR, Inventory Management, Purchasing, etc.) processes and supporting Business Systems functionality is considered an asset.
• Strong written, and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical staff.
• Keen attention to detail and proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working with Oracle database structures and familiarity with Pl/SQL features, Packages, Functions and Procedures is considered an asset.
• Ability to travel international up to 10% of the time.
  
  

Preferred Characteristics

• Post-secondary degree in Business Analysis, Business Management or equivalent
• Exceptional interpersonal skills along with ability to effectively present ideas and concepts
• Experience implementing ERP systems
• Experience reading, writing, and modifying SQL to gather, analyze, convert, and validate data
• Experience in the Aerospace industry is considered an asset
• Experience with Oracle E-Business suite applications is considered an asset.
• Experience with Maintenance Repair Overhaul (MRO) applications is considered an asset
