Your Role in Action:

The Regional Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for the following tasks, as well as other related duties as assigned to support the business objectives of the Company:

  • Audit and Compliance Management:
    • Lead the quarterly scorecard release and corrective action plan (CAP) review, identifying compliance issues and managing remediation processes to meet company and provincial standards.
    • Schedule and conduct internal audits quarterly and self-audit reviews monthly, managing findings and developing strategies for addressing instances of non-compliance.
    • Evaluate and reinforce campus-wide training following audit and compliance reviews.
  • Communication and Reporting:
    • Manage bi-weekly Compliance Office Hours, providing updates to campus directors and addressing concerns while following up on action items.
    • Oversee the BC Compliance Inbox to ensure effective communication and timely responses to inquiries.
    • Prepare and submit compliance reports related to campus operations, documenting incidents, issues, and non-compliance findings.
  • Program Support and Documentation:
    • Collaborate with academic teams to address program-specific questions from regulatory bodies and prepare responses for submissions.
    • Conduct regular updates to the price list and maintain the program information sheet for Operations and Finance.
    • Support the team with IT approvals for MyCampus, ensuring accurate documentation of program changes and price approvals.
  • Marketing Compliance:
    • Oversee the approval process for marketing content, conducting quarterly audits of campus websites to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Student Concerns and Dispute Resolution:
    • Investigate student concerns raised by the PTIB, ensuring adherence to established policies and preparing responses as needed.
    • Finalize and update the Student Data Report (SDR) for regulatory submissions, maintaining accurate student lists and follow-up reports.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Maintain current knowledge of regulatory and operational changes, assessing their impact on compliance processes and communicating updates to relevant stakeholders.

Your Expertise:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance coordination or related roles preferably in a post-secondary environment, with a focus on adult education.
  • Knowledge of regulatory policies and procedures related to post-secondary education and compliance standards.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, evaluate, and present concise oral and written reports.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and ensure timely and accurate completion of responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality regarding all college and compliance-related matters.
