IT Procurement Advisor
The Strategic Procurement Advisor will be responsible for managing a small and medium portfolio of IT contracts. To succeed in this role, you will need to stay organized, manage to prioritize different projects, pay attention to details and take full ownership of the tasks with a high sense of autonomy. You will ensure all Procurement activities are in compliance with the company policies and working procedures.
Location: Montreal
Your role within the Team
- Request quotes, pricing, or competitive bids from potential suppliers.
- Receive and evaluate submissions.
- Prepare and recommend purchases.
- Review contractual terms and consult with procurement managers and legal services as needed.
- Initiate purchase orders and contracts using predetermined procedures.
- Ensure compliance with procurement requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Understand, implement, and adhere to AtkinsRéalis policies and ensure suppliers do the same, implementing corrective measures as necessary.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet current needs and explore mutual benefits and other potential innovations.
- Establish effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to provide a stable foundation for future business opportunities.

Qualifications for the Position
- Demonstrated ability in standard procurement procedures and practices.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize workload and multi-task.
- Ability to work independently, with minimum supervision.
- Dedicated team player with well-developed interpersonal skills.
- Well-developed interpersonal and stakeholder-facing skills.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle), VMS system (SAP Ariba), and Service Now.
- Comprehension of contractual terms and conditions in conjunction with established procurement policies.
