About The Role:

Our ideal Vet Assistant will counsel and educate clients, under the direction of a Veterinarian or an RVT, on various aspects of animal care, such as medication dosage/purpose, home care, vaccination requirements, and preventative healthcare recommendations. Collaborating with the team, they will suggest and explain laboratory procedures and testing. They will also greet, handle, and treat animals in a way that contributes to a safe and secure environment for them. Strong communication and interpersonal skills and being bilingual in English and French are considered assets.

Please note this position is temporary and we are looking for someone who can work a 6-month fixed term.
