As a Senior Marketing Manager at Stryker, you will develop and direct marketing programs for our legacy Acute Care, Emergency Care, and Sage divisions in Canada. You will also play a critical role in shaping the long-term talent strategy for the marketing organization, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and high performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership
    • Lead the team responsible for developing and executing the product and portfolio strategy.
    • Establish a long-term talent plan for the marketing organization, ensuring sustainable growth and leadership development.
    • Drive a culture of excellence and innovation, ensuring high performance across all marketing initiatives.
  • Marketing Strategy & Execution
    • Own the marketing plan, from creation to execution, ensuring alignment with business goals.
    • Challenge the team to employ effective segmentation, targeting, and positioning methods.
    • Identify opportunities to optimize pricing strategies based on market conditions and product lifecycle.
    • Establish metrics to measure the success of marketing objectives in driving customer engagement.
  • Financial & Business Acumen
    • Demonstrate strong P&L understanding, making data-driven decisions to optimize marketing investments.
    • Identify and implement breakthrough solutions across cross-functional teams, influencing business strategy.
  • Industry & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Develop key relationships with industry thought leaders, organizations, and institutions in collaboration with other marketing leaders.
  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Lead a team of professionals, ensuring talent growth, mentorship, and high performance.
    • Develop employees by hiring, coaching, administering performance appraisals, and fostering career progression.
    • Champion company culture, policies, and values, ensuring a positive and engaged work environment.
What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 10+ years of work experience required
  • 7+ years of medical device or marketing/sales experience preferred
  • 4+ years of people management experience preferred
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines.
  • Demonstrated success in developing talent strategies and fostering a culture of excellence within marketing organizations.
