Employee Professional Development:
* Design, develop, implement, coordinate, and lead end-to-end professional development offerings and programs for roles across the organization.
* Proactively work with internal customers to identify and understand role-specific needs and develop solutions to meet them.
* Deliver professional development training sessions.
* Ensure all development aligns with company values and quality standards.
Onboarding and Orientation:
* Assist in the creation and delivery of onboarding and orientation programs for new hires, ensuring a smooth and effective transition into the organization.
Data-Driven Development:
* Utilize quantitative and qualitative data analytics to identify competency gaps and develop targeted development strategies.
Continuous Improvement & Cultural Adaptation:
* Engage in continuous improvement efforts, including benchmarking and staying up-to-date with best practices in organizational training and development.
* Support the development and enhancement of organizational culture through training initiatives.
Needs Analysis & Expertise Mapping:
* Manage the annual needs analysis process across all departments to identify short, mid, and long-term training needs.
* Identify specialized roles across the organization and develop training solutions.
* Create and develop qualification and development concepts for indirect employees.
Support & Vendor Management:
* Provide support for development activities, including communication to and training of internal customers.
* Build and maintain relationships with external training vendors, acting as the primary point of contact for training support needs.
Other L&D Activities:
* Assist with other Learning and Development initiatives as needed, contributing to the broader organizational training goals.
* Create outcome based products and measures with end to end customer focus mindset
Skills and Qualifications
* Post-secondary education in Adult Education, Instructional Design, Learning Sciences, or a related discipline (e.g., PIDP, B.Ed)
* Knowledge of instructional techniques and delivery methods to engage learners and enhance retention.
* Exemplary attention to detail with an eye for accuracy, consistency, and alignment
* Accountability and ownership
* Up to ~5% travel within Ontario and internationally
* Ability to maintain flexible work hours to account for time zone differences with Europe, when necessary
* Overtime may be required to meet ramp-up deadlines
* Proven experience in Learning and Development, with a focus on leadership and management development.
* Proficiency in data analytics to identify gaps and measure the effectiveness of training programs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Self-driven with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
* Familiarity with compliance and cultural adaptation in a corporate setting.
* Certification in Learning and Development, Organizational Development, or related field.
* Fluency in German or Spanish is preferred.
