This position is onsite at a plant location in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
Experience with automotive coatings application and/or automotive coatings experience.
Knowledge of general paint processes - robotic applicators.
Knowledge and troubleshooting paint quality issues.
Knowledge of mixroom functions – inventory control, usage, material validation (viscosity, pH).
Collect & record data including appearance (wave-scan), color (BYK-mac) & filmbuild (PELT).
Manage relationships with manufacturing & engineering team at customer sites.
Maintain key communication regarding daily projects, line issues.
Initiate/participate in internal & external business meetings.
Build relationships (all levels) – internal & external.
Support change initiatives that help teams deliver value.
Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while handling multiple projects.
Able to work under stressful situation (quality issues/ spills).
Good personality, friendly, outgoing - effective communicator.
Ability to adapt to flexible shifts (day & afternoon shifts), weekend work, and OT.
High School Diploma Required. Additional Education/college Degree Ideal.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
