Sobeys is full of exciting opportunities, and we are always looking for bright new talent to join our team! We currently have an opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join our Internal Recovery Finance team.

• Note that the opportunity is for a 6-month contract

Here’s where you’ll be focusing:

• Monitor, control, and reconcile missing revenues.
• Request system corrections so that revenues conditions reflect supplier agreements.
• Ensure follow-up and verification of claims by an external audit firm.
• Contribute to the preparation of new analytical reports to support the various needs of the Merchandising, Sourcing and Finance teams.
• Participate to the period end process.

What you have to offer:

• Undergraduate Degree in a related discipline or College Diploma and 1 to 2 year of experience.
• Detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
• Autonomous, organized, and a team player.
• Advanced mastery of Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel and Access)
