What Is the Opportunity?
The Travelers Canada Internship Program provides qualified students with an excellent opportunity to gain first-hand experience, receive valuable on-the-job training and learn more about the property & casualty insurance industry. Interns receive challenging work assignments that add value and impact the organization.
What Will You Do?
Complete challenging and meaningful work.
Learn about the insurance industry, different lines of business, interact with a variety of talented leaders from the organization and more!
Learn and understand effective strategies for property claim handling.
Develop knowledge of property insurance coverage, claim handling software, and property damage estimating software.
Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Property Claim intern, you will receive valuable on-the-job training such as:
- Claim Handling Fundamentals
- Understanding Property Insurance Coverage
- Utilizing Claim Handling Software: Guidewire Claim Center
- Introduction to Property Damage Estimating Software: Xactimate
- Students who are serious about entering the insurance industry is preferred.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above preferred.
- Students completing their final or 3rd year is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Must be pursuing post-secondary degree.
- Legally eligible to work in the Canada.
