Your Mission
The SMT Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining SMT equipment to ensure the efficient production of high-quality electronic assemblies. The ideal candidate will have experience with surface mount technology machines and a strong understanding of the manufacturing process. Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to quality are essential for this role. This is a full-time, in-office position with a 1pm – 9:30pm shift.

Your Mission
The SMT Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining SMT equipment to ensure the efficient production of high-quality electronic assemblies. The ideal candidate will have experience with surface mount technology machines and a strong understanding of the manufacturing process. Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to quality are essential for this role. This is a full-time, in-office position with a 1pm – 9:30pm shift.

In This Role You Will
- SMT Machine Operation: Set up and operate SMT machines (e.g., pick-and-place machines, solder paste printers, reflow ovens) according to job specifications.
- Component Placement: Ensure accurate placement of electronic components on PCBs, following design and placement guidelines.
- Machine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of SMT machines to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
- Process Monitoring: Monitor machine performance during production runs, ensuring that components are placed correctly, and defects are minimized.
- Quality Control: Inspect PCBs for defects such as misplacements, soldering issues, or component damage, and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve machine malfunctions, issues with components, or production errors in a timely manner.
- Material Handling: Ensure that all materials, including PCB boards and components, are correctly loaded into machines and ready for production.
- Documentation: Complete necessary production paperwork, such as machine logs, production reports, and quality checks to be compliant with ISO9001.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production supervisors, quality control teams, and other machine operators to ensure efficient workflow and timely production.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safe and efficient operations.

- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating SMT machines in an electronic manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with SMT equipment (e.g., pick-and-place machines, solder paste printers, reflow ovens).
- Strong understanding of electronic components, assembly processes, and SMT technology.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
- Knowledge of safety practices and protocols in a manufacturing environment.
- Are an enthusiastic, innovative individual who cares about sustainability
- Strong documentation and organizational skills for tracking production runs.
- Team player with effective communication skills.
- Problem-solving ability to address equipment or process issues.
- Flexibility to perform other manufacturing tasks or duties as assigned
- Are patient and diligent; quality may take longer, but you know it's worth it
