About The Role
Are you a seasoned Project Manager with a passion for HR technology? Do you have experience leading large-scale projects that drive organizational efficiency and enhance employee experience? Join 123Dentist as our Project Manager, Digital HR, where you will be instrumental in transforming HR systems and processes to streamline the employee lifecycle – from recruitment to retirement.
In this role, you will manage key HR projects, focusing on integrating self-serve technology, implementing innovative solutions, and optimizing core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, payroll, performance management, and employee engagement. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of HR technology projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
This position is on-site, at the 123Dentist Burnaby Head Office.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage HR technology projects, ensuring clear project scope, goals, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define people data standards, conduct data audits, and cleanse data for optimal system performance.
- Support the development of a new HR Shared Services organization and establish hire-to-retire people processes.
- Manage the selection and implementation of Human Capital Management (HCM) & Applicant Tracking Systems for improved efficiencies and reduced time to fill.
- Implement systems enabling Employee Self-Service, such as online portals and mobile apps, to enhance HR-related experiences for employees.
- Oversee ticketing systems and communication platforms to improve employee-HR interactions.
- Work on employee engagement initiatives, integrating pulse checks and feedback mechanisms into the 123Dentist app.
- Regularly monitor project progress, identify and resolve risks and issues, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports.
- Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with company goals.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and projects are delivered within budget.
- 10+ years in software implementation project management within a large organization and 3+ years in Human Resources with at least one successful HCM implementation.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification required.
- Change management certification and experience considered an asset.
- Proven ability to lead complex HR projects with multiple stakeholders and vendors.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management skills.
- Experience managing budgets and financial targets effectively.
- Excellent project planning, execution, and monitoring skills.
- A strong track record of managing complex HR projects from initiation to closure.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with stakeholders and vendors.
