Job Description

Reporting to the Associate Director, Investor Operations, a list of your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and guide any direct reports in daily deliverables while ensuring adherence to company and department policies and procedures relating to investor registration, dealing, reporting and cash.
  • Be a main contact for daily client inquiries and deliverables covered by your reporting lines, ensure resources are allocated to complete deliverables within Service level agreements
  • Support management in addressing any sensitive or escalated queries/concerns from Clients, Investors, Fund Managers or internal MUFG Departments following a high-quality standard
  • Support any direct reports with training and guide individual performance and development with guidance and support of the manager through regular one to one meetings, regular performance discussions, career coaching and development as requested, annual performance reviews following company standards. Foster a professional environment of encouraging personal and professional development.
  • Ensure regular communications such as check-in meetings/calls with direct reports, encouraging team work, support and a positive team culture
  • Support management with driving department initiatives, projects, risk mitigation
  • Support Investor Operations projects within your team, encouraging participation, constructive feedback and idea generation from the team members
  • Support and Promote MUFG's core values of Trust, Challenge & Empowerment, Passion for Clients and Openness and Honesty

Qualifications

You Have:

  • A Diploma or Bachelor's degree preferably in a business related field or related experience
  • 3+ years experience in financial services, fund administration, asset management, banking or client service
  • A demonstratable ability to problem solve complex issues and provide guidance, assistance and training would be expected.
  • Existing client/customer service experience would be ideal
  • Knowledge of Investor Services processes and related functionalities
  • Demonstrated business logic and risk adverse approach to processes.
  • Demonstrated team leadership experience in Investor Services, fund administration or relevant industry
  • Computer skills with strengths in Microsoft Office products. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel would be an asset.
