Senior Project Manager - Code Migration and Custom Build Project

Location: Hybrid - Must be based in the Greater Vancouver or Greater Victoria area

Duration: Approximately one year

About the Role:

On behalf of our client, we require a Senior Project Manager for a critical project involving the migration of existing code to a cloud environment and the development of a new custom application. This role demands a strategic leader with a deep understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and technical project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Execution: Oversee the technical aspects of code migration and custom development, ensuring project goals are met without compromising on quality or timelines.
  • Stakeholder Interaction: Coordinate with internal teams and external partners, ensuring all parties are aligned with project objectives.
  • Risk Management: Manage and mitigate risks inherent in large-scale software projects, including technical, financial, and operational risks.
  • Team Leadership: Guide a diverse team through the complexities of software development, testing, and deployment.
  • Communication: Provide clear, actionable updates to senior management, highlighting progress, challenges, and solutions.

  • Location Requirement:
