Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic SME Account Executive to join our growing Toronto, ON based team. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 5 years of proven experience in sales and business development, a consultative approach, and a passion for building and maintaining strong client relationships.


Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development:
  • Actively prospect and engage with new businesses, leveraging proven strategies to exceed sales targets.
  • Perform cold calling to generate new leads and nurture warm leads from initial contact through to closing.
  • Research and analyze your territory’s sales potential to identify new business opportunities.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and executive sponsors.
  • Prepare and deliver customized presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
  • Uncover client pain points, propose solutions using FNL’s products and services, and negotiate contracts.
  • Consultative Selling:
  • Utilize a consultative approach to assess client needs and craft innovative fleet management solutions.
  • Respond to tenders and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) as needed.
  • Operational Handover:
  • Collaborate with Customer Service Representatives to ensure seamless onboarding and account setup for new clients.
  • Independently manage workflows and time to drive efficiency in the customer setup process.


Qualifications

  • University degree in Business Management.
  • 4–5 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management, preferably in the fleet automotive sector.
  • Sales cycle planning and strategic selling to commercial company experience.
  • Existing fleet sales experience or related automotive experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets within long sales cycles and experience in Strategic Selling to C-Suite Executives.
  • Consultative and analytical approach to identifying client needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Knowledge of fleet management, leasing, or related industries is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
  • Previous experience in the automobile industry is an asset.
