In this role, you’ll be the critical link between our drivers, operations team, and customers, ensuring seamless service and efficient routing.

- Schedule services and manage customer requests to ensure timely and efficient pickups and deliveries.
- Dispatch drivers based on routes and real-time location tracking.
- Monitor and troubleshoot potential service issues before they arise.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal departments to resolve service concerns.
- Track productivity and enter service information into GFL proprietary software.
- Conduct driver check-ins at the end of the day to ensure accurate paperwork and reporting.
- Collaborate with routing specialists to optimize efficiency.
- Maintain effective communication with the maintenance shop for vehicle-related concerns.
- Education: High school diploma required; post-secondary education is an asset.
- Experience: 1-2 years in dispatch, transportation, or customer service.
- Skills: Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
- Technical Abilities: Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word; experience with TRUX software is a plus.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work extended hours, including occasional weekends.
