Part Time Cash Processor

Our Cash Logistics team plays an important role in the currency ecosystem for both our customers and our business. As a member of the Cash Logistics groups, you will be responsible for the timely processing of multiple types of deposits, preparing outbound orders for our customers, and balancing cash.

This position functions in an armed environment but the employees working as Cash Logistics clerks do not carry a firearm. This position plays a key role in the protection of valuables for Brink's and its customers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Processing deposits (cash and cheques for example)
• Processing inbound and outbound bank shipments
• Preparing cash orders for commercial bank customers
• Preparing cash that will be loaded to ATM machines
• Processing inbound and outbound coin payments and shipments

Qualifications:

• You thrive in a busy environment and know how to execute detailed tasks
• You are comfortable working with numbers - basic mathematics skills are in regular use throughout the day
• Comfortable interacting with computers and handheld devices, including using Microsoft Office
• Our Cash Logistics rooms operate on varying schedules, you can make yourself available for up to 20 hours of work a week. This is a great opportunity for someone who has other commitments and needs to work varying schedules.
• Any previous working experience handling cash, checkouts or work in a banking environment is an asset
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds

Starting Pay Rate: $20.31 - $21.11 per hour
