Shift: Wednesday/Thursday OFF; 8:00 – 4:00PM

What you'll do:

  • Ensuring the accuracy of all data on Driver trip sheets, including hours, miles, pay adjustments and deductions prior to submission for payroll processing
  • Verifying and accurately entering statutory holidays, vacations, sick days, bereavement, leave of absence and other employee absences in Kronos and/or Workday
  • Onboarding and offboarding of colleagues in corporate HRIS/payroll systems
  • Calculating various pay adjustments such as statutory holiday time worked, wage premiums and bonuses
  • Ensuring that payroll corrections or adjustments are properly documented, approved and entered
  • Auditing of SOPs, identification of root cause and corrective actions to ensure accurate pay to colleagues
  • Configuring, testing, and validation of pay rules in payroll systems
  • Conduct final review of pay statements prior to distribution
  • Producing ad hoc reports for Senior Management as required
  • Other administrative, clerical, and auditing activities as required

What you bring:

  • A Post-Secondary education in Finance or related field is required; experience working in a fast-paced environment, particularly corporate and/or retail will be considered an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to bring together and manage interactions with employees from across the organization
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage demanding situations with tact
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize numerous tasks with conflicting deadlines
  • Results Oriented – able to consistently deliver on time and accurate results
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of tools
  • Familiar with SAP system is preferred
