Reporting to the Head of Product and Partner Marketing, the Product Marketing Specialist works within the Product Marketing team and across the broader Interac organization, with a specific mandate to support the go-to-market planning and execution of activities to drive growth for the Konek and Interac Direct products. This role will work in close collaboration with the Product Marketing Lead to plan, execute, and measure the success of programs to meet our product goals.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Go-to-Market Planning: In collaboration with the Product Marketing Lead, support the development of a go-to-market strategy focused on target B2B and B2C audiences with high impact programs that drive Konek and Interac Direct’s growth.
- Lifecycle Communications and Campaign Execution: Own the end-to-end development of marketing materials from brief to execution for both digital and integrated marketing programs across the customer lifecycle.
- Cross-Functional Program Management and Participation: Lead project management of marketing programs in partnership with Canada’s leading banks and act as the marketing representative in agile squads.
- Customer Research: Collaborate with market intelligence teams to conduct customer research to capture insights needed to refine product positioning and marketing strategies.
- Competitive Intelligence: Perform quarterly competitive intelligence to monitor the market and adjust strategies accordingly. Use insights to refine positioning and identify differentiation opportunities.
- Reporting: Own the development and management of marketing dashboards to report on program performance.
- Sales Enablement: Create and maintain sales enablement materials that equip the sales team to effectively communicate program benefits. Regularly update resources to reflect new features and market changes.
- Budget and Invoicing: Oversee the budget and invoicing for areas of accountability, ensuring cost-effective initiatives.
You bring:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in marketing or product marketing.
- Must be eligible to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a Full-Time Capacity.
- Proficient digital marketer experience in paid and owned channels.
- Experience with go-to-market planning and developing product marketing plans and materials, including a track record of creating product marketing programs for net-new products and product extensions.
- Strong presentation skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to translate technical features into compelling and clear product marketing and sales enablement materials.
- Experience with managing agency partner and vendor relationships, including tracking and managing related budgets, facilitating feedback, and setting shared objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build cross-functional relationships across Marketing, Comms, Product, and Technology teams.
